An exclusive-use self-catering safari lodge for those who would rather hear the river than the road.

Ngulube River Lodge sits on the banks of the Crocodile River, incorporated into a private Big 5 reserve in South Africa. Five en-suite rooms facing a private stretch of the river.

Exclusivity is guaranteed with your private game vehicle and ranger, together with our fantastic team looking after you during your stay.

A stay shaped by game drives at dawn and dusk with elephants at the river by mid-morning, and evenings under the stars.

Each of our five en-suite rooms looks out onto the Crocodile River. Choose a king or two singles. Two of the suites interlink, ideal for families travelling together.

Every room comes with a free-standing bath, both indoor and outdoor showers, and air conditioning for the warmer afternoons. The lodge, including one room, is wheelchair accessible.

The Reserve

Inside Mjejane.

Mjejane Game Reserve is a private Big 5 reserve incorporated into the Kruger National Park.

Mjejane shares the Kruger's southern boundary, allowing wildlife to roam freely. Lion sightings are common. Full-day drives into the Kruger itself can be arranged on request through the nearby public gates.
